'Everafter' a word so often heard in fairytale stories
A word dreamed about in our little world of fantasies
Giving one the impression of everlasting happiness
The home of true beauty and not an ounce of sadness...
A word that could only be associated with a fairytale
For in the real world 'everafter' would be assumed to fail
There's no cure for aids no stop to the ongoing wars
Our future doomed hopeless only echos of slamming doors...
In my spiritual growth I realize - there's no need to groan
This place does exist its there when You take us home
Our 'everafter' is still to come - the glimpse of it - not far away
Its there in our relationship with You - its there when we pray...
So when I'm feeling worthless and void of laughter
I delight in this one simple word called 'Everafter'...
