DARKNESS FALLS

Hear my voice Jesus in the wind
calling on Your name
I stand here so alone in the pouring
rain
My arms outstretched towards the
heavenly sky
Broken and beat I surrender hear
my wounded cry
I've lost my way please tell me
where you are
Tell me where I could find you -
are You really far?
I close my eyes and hear the wind
blow
Here I am Father standing here
below
Life has simply become to much
to bare
The struggles are many and I no
longer wish to care
I need to hear Your voice I need You
here
How do I escape this never-ending
fear
Darkness Falls within my heart and I
see no way out
Always smiling yet within I scream and
shout
Why through these trials do I feel
so forsaken
As though an entire piece of me has
been taken
Oh! Father there's so much to be
thankful for
I just can't see the light I just can't
anymore
Could You possibly shine Your guiding
light
Because Dad right now I'm struggling
through my darkest night...

NIGHT FALLS ON THE CITY

Walking along the road pretty sure
it was light
How quickly the sun set bringing on
the night
I must have been in daydream for
the time to go so fast
Yes, I remember now I was thinking
of the past
Yikes! its quite dark and I'm walking
all alone
I'm a little frightened of the creatures
that at night do roam
I wrap my cloak around me gathering
it ever so tight
Praying for God to keep me safe from
evils plight
Taverns are all open drunken brawls
are heard
I take it all in not uttering a single word
Teenagers are gaining entry into clubs
that seem quite dodgy
Alcohol and drugs are on the increase
passed on by everybody
Parading along the sidewalks are ladies
of the night
Sensual desires on display not hidden
from our sight
The girls are young yet trying hard to
look so old
My heart broke for the homeless seeking
refuge from the cold
Safe beside my bed I pray for all that I
have seen
By my side God walked with me going
where I had been
As the sun sets Night Falls On The City
Birthing life to another world that
questions my reality
Weary of the days gripes I had merely
forgotten
The night comes alive, often hiding all
things vile and rotten...

FACT OR FICTION

Living our lives in restless fear
Knowing the end of age is near
The ignorant believe it shall be
with a flooding
Yet Christians know it will end with
Christ's second coming
Some fear our demise shall be an
annihilation
As Nation rises up against Nation
With the ongoing crises in Pakistan
Gaining more power are the al-Queda
and the Taliban
Russia and China's military are much
stronger
Terrorism's collateral damage is spiking
higher
It is apparent that man has the potential
for self extinction
As Kingdoms threaten mass destruction
Nuclear weapons being an imminent
threat
Yet Gods word gives wisdom so we do
not forget
The rainbow an eternal covenant God made
with all things living
The earths demise shall not end with a
flooding
Believers have an assurance that Jesus
will intervene
On a Glory cloud He will be seen
It is up to you to make the distinction
Seek the truth and you will know if
its all Fact or Fiction...

Matth 24v22:  If those days had not been cut short no one would survive,
but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened...

ONE WAY TICKET

Presented with a One Way Ticket
Lawlessness- there is none like it
A free pass into hells fire
Adrift in carnal desire
Take it upon yourself and see
Hell is open to carnality
Lost in self - Satan's new recruit
Following desires of trivial pursuit
Choices - so many choices to make
Of which do you prefer to undertake
On of two are a certainty
Hopeless fear or victory
Keep strong stand tall and be brave
Material things cannot be taken to
the grave
Father has a special place for you
Depends on what you choose to do
Path of righteousness is narrow
and straight
Satan will lure you into taking his
bait
Marching in Gods army or a
lawless bandit
Either way you'll be presented with
a One Way Ticket..

TRAPPED

Trapped in this consuming rage
Like a bird in a tightened cage
Need to release this anger in me
Before I lose complete sanity
To be done now before its too late
Lest I override love with hate
Letting out a nervous sigh
Endeavouring to comply
Feeling like a total stranger
Placed in spiritual danger
There are things that I have heard of
The more you live the more you love
Then I implore break these chains
Life itself sure as heck has more downs
than gains
Is it real can it be - Anger so intense has
become a part of me
Looking back longing for a time of
happiness
Simply to escape this gaping hole of
emptiness
As a child perhaps there was a giggle
or a smile
Something just something that kept
me going all the while
Are You looking down upon me do
You even care
This soul You supposedly delight in
needs life to be a little fair
Oh! take away this hatred this bitterness
this sadness
I'm crying out Jesus I'm hurting inside I
need to feel Your righteousness
Save me from myself take pity on this
soul
Let Your healing angels descend and
aid in my being whole...

WORDS

Cruel and vicious he walks the globe
Diguised in angels wings he dons his
robe
Lurking in the shadows he awaits the
opportunity
A matter of time but it shall be a
certainty
Words of hurt has escaped your lips
Cutting like a knife below the hips
Causing pain within the other's heart
You can't go back you can't restart
Said in anger without a thought
Bitter words of resentment have been
caught
In the shadows he smiles with glee
Played into the hands of the enemy
Trust and respect he shall destroy
You are but merely his earthly toy
Upon the tongue lay tremendous
power
Words of which could build you up or
make you cower
Sword of truth should ultimately prevail

IMPERFECT PERFECTION

I love that You can always see the perfect
through the imperfect in me
When in my life there is but another trail
of defection
Your love can only see the Perfect
in my Imperfection...

When I felt my mere existence  was
beginning to fade
Trying to embrace the reality but it
being a masquerade
Lacking confidence - being afraid -
craving attention
Even through all my faults You can
only see Imperfect Perfection...

I love You Jesus for giving me a world
to believe in
For helping me to accept and love my

For picking me up every time I fall

IMPACT

Abiding by the guide lines of what
appears acceptable
Yet bad judgement has left you in a
place undeniable
Unfolding a tale of acceptance in all
the wrong avenues
Unguarded and spent paying
unrewarded dues
Will and fate are left to your own
devices
Within your reasoning you have to
make sacrifices...

Forbidding others to know where
you're at
Fearful they will sever all contact
Yet somewhere there has been a
leak
Yes you've become a Jesus freak
The impact has made a ripple effect
Making others question their intellect
Uphold the One that blooms in
diversity

Running - running away from here
Away from strife away from fear
Running - running into the arms of love

Authority figures prance about with
predatory disdain
Convincing the victim spirit there's not
much he can obtain
Yet succes is attainable for everyone
Born To Succeed predestined before
birth cannot be undone
Stand strong in permeating your
boundaries
Lest the work overload deactivates your
pleasantries
Permit the predator see you have been
gravely misjudged
Hence you live life falsely begrudged
Perhaps raised with the perception of
being defective
Persevere then always to obtain the
objective
Pursue your goal with much faith and
prayer
The love of Christ will certainly get
you there
Attain the insight to reach your peak

With authority yet with love with boldness
and conviction
Your failure to launch is by your own
admission
Aspire to reach your dreams of greater
imaginings
Do not settle for less freely pursue new
beginnings...

WET OUT DRY WITHIN

Rain is pouring down in torrents mingled
with the tears streaming down my face
Soaking through my clothes in this
God forsaken place
Cold and broken I raise my hands
Barefoot toes buried in the sands
Father it feels as though you're so far
away
I implore fill my being on this rainy day
So wet out yet within I'm spiritually dry
Brightness as lightning illuminates the
darkened sky
Thunder crashes in the distance its
getting closer
Can You see - can You see where I'm
at Father
Not only out there but deep within my
heart
I am falling to pieces I am breaking apart
Moving on I simply cannot bare
I need to know that You truly care
In faith I await Your presence
Let Your healing rain fill me with Your
Godly essence...
