I AM SIN

Open your heart let me in
You know my name - the name of sin
I will dare you - I will tempt you
Self loathe will be your drive through
A gentle persuasion - a tug of the heart
Pulling you in - tearing you apart
Let me guide you down the path of shame
A worthy opponent in lifes foolish game...

 

I have tricked so many to believe
I'm open to interpretation -

oh how I love to deceive
There you go - open that door
With false hope I will fuel you some more
Shout it - Scream it - use your voice
Allow carnality to be your choice
With a snarled smirk I giggle in glee
To the depths of hell you're coming with me...
You're doing wrong you've lost that spark
Ecstatic I am that you've missed the mark...

You think you've had enough - feeling a little spent
On bended knee you feel the need to repent
Ah! It is clear wisdom has become
your friend
On Jesus you have once again come to depend
Yet I will not be deterred I will not sway
The earth is my ground and I intend to play
So for a time I'll leave you be
The day is not at an end I shall be returning shortly...

COLLISION COURSE

Callous hands and a vengeful heart
Blood is spilled - lives ripped apart
Hate the ultimate driving force
Setting out on a hungered course
Devouring the ungaurded with
hilarity
Feeding off their animosity
In this world gone crazy mad

Evil fuels loathing within the bad...

Revulsion and the likes thereof
In a head on collision with love
Inevitable from the start
Hate colliding with it's counterpart
Now completely out of whack
Forgiveness forcing hate off track
Replacing abhorred repulsion
The sovereignty of loves devotion
There is no greater power
Tenderness of love to make hate
cower...

So in this world gone crazy mad
Therein lies something to be glad
Blessed with freedom of choice
We have much whereby to rejoice
Though someone may hate someone
Love is birthed within everyone
When hate manifests it's hungered
force
Inevitaby it's set on a Collision Course...

LITTLE ONE (A STORY)

EVERAFTER

'Everafter' a word so often heard in fairytale stories
A word dreamed about in our little world of fantasies
Giving one the impression of everlasting happiness
The home of true beauty and not an ounce of sadness...

A word that could only be associated with a fairytale
For in the real world 'everafter' would be assumed to fail
There's no cure for aids no stop to the ongoing wars
Our future doomed hopeless only echos of slamming doors...

In my spiritual growth I realize - there's no need to groan
This place does exist its there when You take us home
Our 'everafter' is still to come - the glimpse of it - not far away
Its there in our relationship with You - its there when we pray...

So when I'm feeling worthless and void of laughter
I delight in this one simple word called 'Everafter'...

WINDS OF CHANGE

Gliding through the air of least
resistance
Reaching pristine heights of
my existence
Embracing life with love anew
Winds of change breezing through
For a while I am to be
Soaring high - flying free
A rapid conversion and I'm
swiftly off course
Perilous times of a foremost
source
Disrupting all thats real to me
Obscuring my reality
Lost in self - spiritually dry
Grasping on just to get by
Besides still waters You lead me
Your unwavering love my decree
Shielding me - restoring my soul
Resuming courage to gain control
Through the valley of death I have
no fear
Never forsaken for You are forever near...

THE END IS AT HAND

Such is the ways of man
Hankering after a future plan
Continually living in fear
Aware the end is near
Alternative sources cannot forsee
The future of our destiny
Our Redeemer foils the signs
Of false prophets and their kinds

Stand in faith undeterred
Focusing wholly on the word
For its is a lamp to our feet and
a light to our path
Those who wait on Him will be
delivered from His wrath
Christ sacrificed to bear our sin
His second coming to bring salvation...

Within the bible our future foretold
In Reverend fear we best behold
Christ reigns for eternity
His imminent coming a reality
Of the antichrist pay no mind
With joy the coming of Christ defined
Do not be foolish make a stand
The coming of Christ is not on land
He is coming with the clouds and
every eye will see him
With a shout and the trumpet of God
He will descend from heaven
Raising first the dead in Christ
and then the living
To reign eternally in heaven with Him
Scriptures mission of prophecy
To make aware this reality
At the very end
The wicked will be condemned
Be sure to understand
For the end is at hand...

The day is at an end my time

with You begins
A sigh of content as I hear

You tell me things
Notepad resting on my knee

my pencil at hand
Free flow of the lead composing
a one man band
Slow and gentle the music flows
Pencil to paper the written tempo

grows
With every step there You've
been
Going where I went Seeing what

I've seen
Through the days slime and grime
By my side the entire time
When I thought I could no longer

stand tall
Your Love carried me through it all
Gazing up at the stars sparkling in the

 moonlit sky
With awe struck Love I sing to You

a lullaby
So much more You are worthy of
But right here right now I merely want

to express my Love
As gentle as the nights breeze that has

touched my skin
Is the knowledge that in this world of sin

You're my everything
When circumstance of life makes no sense
