Morning Dad

I simply want to say Lord
Thank you for the blessing of
a brand new day
You are worthy Dad of all honour
Glory and praise
Help me today to mirror You
and imitate Your ways
For who am I but a simple fool
Yet I endeavour to be used as
a heavenly tool
My eyes are a little heavy as
sleep has evaded me
The night was long and the
burden rather heavy
I know in You I have renewed
hope
And through the days trials I
decree to cope
Not on my own Lord I simply
couldn't
My strength is depleted and I'm
aware I shouldn't
I entrust this day to You with
everything it entails
You are my rock and will take
care of all the details
I pray angelic protection over
my family..my friends and
enemies to
Make Your eyes to shine upon
them like You are want to do
I put on this day the full armour
of protection
The enemies arrows fly by day
and its the only solution
The helmet of salvation and the
breastplate of righteousness
The belt of truth and the sword
of the spirit of Holiness...
