Finally you have found
your place
Dealing with feelings you
need to face
A fervent fight against the
enemies trap
You step up to the plate and
stand in the gap
Worshipping and prayer become
so intense
The eyes of your heart are open
things are making sense
So many trials you dealt with
on your own
Now you realize you never have
to be alone
Time goes by and you're doing
all you can
To suddenly realize that you're
serving man
The time has come you have to
make a choice
You find the courage to finally
use your voice   
You remember that mans not going
to get you into heaven
Only Father God and the faith we
have in Him
He's the only one that keeps you
reaching for your goal
He's the only one that can save
your sinful soul

My being is elated Almighty Divine
I have You dwelling in this heart of mine
As the clouds keep the moon from sight
And I gaze upon that lone bright star
tonight
Resting on the bonnet of my car
Strumming the strings on my guitar
In unison my mind - my soul - my body
Delights in the wonder of the trinity
Father - Son - Holy Fire
Lift me up lift me higher and higher
Bring me to a place of restoration
As I rap out my lifes vision
I so long to get closer to You
As I on lifes journey venture through
Standing on the edge of something
so real
Still learning how to let go - how to
deal
My heart My love no one else knows
The hidden secrets the brokeness
my highs or lows
Take them into the palms of Your

Nurture and love them as only the
trinity understands

IN THE COUNTRY

In the country is where I long to be
Running wild - roaming free
Breathing in the crisp fresh country
air
Where mist hovers low and lingers
everywhere
In daydream I close my eyes
With fictional purpose I fantasize
The grass so green it takes my breath
away
A reassurance perhaps that lifes
going to be okay
Oh! How wonderful a sight are the flowers
in the field
Parading their beauty flauntingly
revealed
The tranquillity of serene splendor is
beyond compare
Looking beyond to see a magnificent
steed galloping out there
Tall and mystifying - flawless as he sprints
with grace and ease
His striking mane dancing in the breeze
I envision myself on his back riding in
the rain
The excitement within barely able
to contain
My hair blowing just as freely under
the open sky
The vision so surreal I could simply cry
The coolness upon my skin a welcomed
reprieve from the city's heat
Wandering in the mountains Oh! what
an awesome retreat
A perfect desire no one can ever take
away
Embedded within my heart forever
there to stay....

LAKE OF FIRE

Darkness permeates in this horrid
place
Punishment to those in hell's wicked
disgrace
Where maggots feast on human
remains
Skeletons erect, prisoners bound by
chains
This unquenchable thirst which has
no end
Where burns and sores could never
mend
A place where human flesh will
forever burn
And the smell of death makes your
stomach turn
Screams of anguish can be heard all
around a destination of death and
destruction
Where forgiveness can't be found...
